Private Cam Show Cost: Per-Minute Rates, Minimums and Real Math

Private Cam Show Cost: Per-Minute Rates, Minimums and Real Math

There is no single price for a private cam show. Here is how a model’s token rate, minimums, 10-second billing and your package turn into dollars, with a worked example.

A private cam show has no single price: each model sets a per-minute rate in tokens or credits, and the site shows it before you start. Your private cam show cost is that rate times the minutes you stay, plus any minimum charged upfront and any extras you agree to, multiplied by what you paid per token. On CamSoda, where tokens cost between about 8 and 14 cents each depending on the package, a model charging 30 tokens a minute (an example rate, not a standard one) costs you roughly $2.42 to $4.19 a minute.

This page works out the real number before you spend anything: how the rate turns into dollars, how a minimum and 10-second billing change the bill, what group and spy shows cost compared with a private one, and what to check before you press start. If you are still choosing a site, our guide to choosing cam sites covers more than price.

How private cam shows are priced

A private show is a one-on-one session with a model, away from the free public room. Most cam sites price it the same way: by the minute, in the site’s own tokens or credits, at a rate the model chooses. That is why two models on the same site can cost very different amounts, and why no honest page can quote one price for “a private show.”

The bill comes from four parts:

  • The per-minute rate. Set by the model, shown on the room before you start.
  • The minimum. Some models set a minimum duration that you pay for even if you leave sooner.
  • Extras. Specific requests can carry their own token price on top of the rate.
  • Your price per token. What you paid for each token or credit, which depends on the package you bought and where you live.

The first three decide how many tokens you spend. The fourth turns tokens into dollars.

How a CamSoda private show is billed

CamSoda publishes its rules on the private shows help page:

  • The model sets the cost per minute, and it is displayed before you start the show.
  • A model may set a minimum duration. If so, the whole minimum is charged upfront.
  • After the minimum, tokens are deducted every 10 seconds for as long as the show runs.
  • Models may charge extra tokens for specific performances or requests. Confirm any extra cost before you start.
  • If the model ends a minimum-duration show early, the unused balance is refunded. If you end it early, the upfront minimum is not refunded.

Public rooms on CamSoda are free to watch, and tips are optional. You only pay for a private show once you choose to start one. Our guide to how cam sites work explains tokens, tips and interactive features in more detail.

Private cam show cost in dollars: from token rate to price per minute

To know what a minute really costs, multiply the model’s rate by what each token cost you. CamSoda’s purchasing tokens page lists eight packages, from 50 tokens for $6.99 (about 14 cents a token) to 3,100 tokens for $249.99 (about 8.1 cents a token). The table uses three of them: 100 tokens for $10.99 (about 11 cents each), 550 for $49.99 (about 9.1 cents) and 3,100 for $249.99.

The rates below are illustrative, picked to show the spread. CamSoda models set their own rates, so read the rate in the room you want.

Rate (tokens per minute) Per minute, 100-token package Per minute, 550-token package Per minute, 3,100-token package
12 about $1.32 about $1.09 about $0.97
30 about $3.30 about $2.73 about $2.42
60 about $6.59 about $5.45 about $4.84
90 about $9.89 about $8.18 about $7.26

Two things stand out. The rate moves the price far more than the package does: going from 12 to 90 tokens a minute multiplies the bill by 7.5, while going from the 100-token package to the 3,100-token one cuts it by about a quarter. And the smallest package is the most expensive per token: at 50 tokens for $6.99, 30 tokens a minute costs about $4.19.

How long a package lasts

The same arithmetic tells you how many minutes a package buys, before any minimum or extras. Whole minutes, rounded down:

Rate (tokens per minute) 100 tokens ($10.99) 550 tokens ($49.99) 3,100 tokens ($249.99)
12 8 minutes 45 minutes 258 minutes
30 3 minutes 18 minutes 103 minutes
60 1 minute 9 minutes 51 minutes
90 1 minute 6 minutes 34 minutes

If the model sets a minimum, check that your balance covers it before you start: the minimum comes off in one go.

Worked example: what a 12-minute private show costs

The rate, minimum and extra below are illustrative, chosen for easy arithmetic. The billing rules and the package price are CamSoda’s published ones.

The setup. A model charges 42 tokens a minute with a 3-minute minimum. You buy the 550-token package for $49.99 and plan to stay about 12 minutes.

  1. Start the show. The minimum is charged upfront: 3 × 42 = 126 tokens.
  2. Keep going. After minute 3, tokens come off every 10 seconds. At 42 tokens a minute, each step is 7 tokens. Nine more minutes is 54 steps: 54 × 7 = 378 tokens.
  3. Add one extra. You ask for a specific request, the model quotes 40 tokens, and you agree before it happens.
  4. End the show at minute 12. Total: 126 + 378 + 40 = 544 tokens. You have 6 tokens left.
Stacked bar of a 12-minute private show: 126 tokens upfront, 378 in 10-second steps and a 40-token extra, 544 tokens or about $49.45
Illustrative rate, minimum and extra; billing rules from CamSoda’s private shows help page and package price from its token page, checked November 2026.

In dollars. At the 550-token package’s price of about 9.1 cents a token, the 544 tokens are worth about $49.45. Without the extra, the 504 tokens of show time are worth about $45.81, or about $3.82 a minute, which is simply 42 tokens times 9.1 cents.

If the show ends early.

  • If you leave at minute 2, you have still spent the 126-token minimum, about $11.45. Nothing comes back.
  • If the model ends it at minute 2, two minutes (84 tokens) were used and the unused 42 tokens of the minimum are refunded.

The lesson: a minimum is a commitment. Only start one you intend to finish.

Private, group and spy shows: how the price differs

“Private” covers several show types, and they are priced differently. On CamSoda, the published Help Center rules above describe private-show billing; the rate for each show is the one the model displays before you start. Other sites publish more of their range, which gives a sense of how show types compare. These figures are each site’s own, in its own currency, checked in November 2026, and a token or credit on one site is not worth the same as on another.

Flirt4Free lists its show types on its show rates page:

Flirt4Free show type What it is Credits per minute
Standard (private) One-on-one video chat with one performer 30 to 60
Premiere Chat One-on-one with a Premiere model 70 to 500
Voyeur Mode Watch someone else’s private show, no audio or text chat 10 to 40
Multi-User Several customers chatting with the model(s) in private 10 to 120
Combo rooms Private or Multi-User; Multi-User is always 2/3 of the private price Private 60 to 120
Feature Shows Shows with adult stars at a set rate 30 (free for VIP members)
Group Chat Viewers pledge credits toward a goal set by the performer Minimum pledge set by the performer
Offered Shows You and the performer agree a price Negotiable

Chaturbate does not publish a rate table, but its site lets you browse rooms by private-show rate in five bands: 6, 12 to 18, 30 to 42, 60 to 72, and 90 or more tokens a minute. Its Terms & Conditions also say private shows are recorded by default and the recording goes to the member who bought the show, unless the broadcaster turns the option off.

Flirt4Free’s table shows the usual logic: watching someone else’s private show or sharing a show with other viewers costs less per minute than having the model to yourself, and its Premiere models cost more. On CamSoda as anywhere else, the rate displayed in the room is the one that counts.

What moves the price of a private show

  • The model’s rate. The biggest factor by far. CamSoda models set their own rate, and the published ranges elsewhere are wide: Chaturbate’s bands run from 6 to 90 or more tokens a minute, Flirt4Free’s from 10 to 500 credits.
  • The show type. One-on-one costs more than spying or a shared show. On Flirt4Free, a Multi-User show in a combo room is always two thirds of the private rate.
  • The minimum. A minimum raises the cost of a short visit: on CamSoda you pay it upfront, and you lose it if you leave early.
  • Extras. Specific requests can be priced on top of the rate. Ask first.
  • Your package. On CamSoda, a token costs about 14 cents in the 50-token package and about 8.1 cents in the 3,100-token one. The bigger package only saves money if you spend it.
  • Where you live. CamSoda’s Help Center says prices vary by country because of VAT, currency exchange and local law, and the final price is the one shown at checkout.
  • Deals and negotiation. Some sites offer negotiated shows or discounted show formats. They are set per site and per model, so check what the room offers.

Why private show prices online don’t agree

Search for a private show price and you will find average rates and “typical ranges” per minute that contradict each other. They differ for good reasons: they were collected in different years, on different sites, from a handful of models picked by the author, and some convert tokens to dollars at package prices that have since changed. None of them is a standard rate, because there isn’t one. CamSoda’s own Help Center gives no universal private-show price for the same reason: the model sets it.

The reliable number is the one in front of you: the rate displayed in the room, times what your tokens cost at checkout. If you want to compare what sites charge for tokens themselves, our list of the cheapest cam sites compares package prices checked at each site’s checkout.

Before you press start: get a firm price

  1. Read the rate. Note the tokens per minute shown on the room before you start.
  2. Check for a minimum. Multiply it by the rate: that is what you pay the moment the show begins.
  3. Agree on extras. If you want something specific, ask what it costs and agree before it happens.
  4. Convert to dollars. Rate times your price per token. At about 10 cents a token, every 10 tokens a minute is about $1 a minute.
  5. Set a stop time. Decide how many minutes you want and check that your balance covers them.
  6. Keep automatic top-ups off. CamSoda’s optional Easy Re-ups refills your balance automatically, and Token Credit, where enabled, lets you spend up to a daily limit and pay later. Both make it easy to spend more than planned.

Pay only through the site’s own checkout and never pay a model off the platform; our guide on whether cam sites are safe has the full checklist. When you are ready to see rates in real rooms, CamSoda’s public cams are free to watch, and each model’s private rate is shown before you start a show.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a private cam show cost per minute?

It depends on the model, because each model sets their own per-minute rate. Multiply the rate by what you paid per token: on CamSoda, a show at an example rate of 30 tokens a minute costs about $2.42 to $4.19 a minute depending on the package you bought. Check the rate shown in the room before you start.

Is there a minimum charge for a private show?

Sometimes. On CamSoda, a model may set a minimum duration, and the whole minimum is charged upfront when the show starts. After the minimum, tokens are deducted every 10 seconds.

Do I get a refund if a private show ends early?

On CamSoda, it depends on who ends it. If the model ends a minimum-duration show early, the unused part of the minimum is refunded. If you end it early, the upfront minimum is not refunded.

Are group or spy shows cheaper than private shows?

Usually, yes, per minute. On CamSoda, check the rate the model displays before any show starts. On Flirt4Free’s published rates, Voyeur Mode runs 10 to 40 credits a minute against 30 to 60 for a standard private show, and in combo rooms a Multi-User show is always two thirds of the private rate. You share the model, or only watch, in exchange.

Why do models charge such different rates?

Models set their own prices, so rates reflect each model’s choices rather than a site-wide price list. CamSoda displays the model’s rate before you start, and Chaturbate lets you browse rooms by rate band, from 6 to 90 or more tokens a minute.

Can I watch cam shows without paying?

Yes. On CamSoda, public rooms are free to watch without buying tokens, and a free account adds chat and following favorites. You only pay for tips, interactive features, private shows and premium content.
