The reason you’ll want this type of finish is because anything too shiny is going to cause reflections on cam. This isn’t a solely aesthetic effect. In fact, it’s practical above all. 

A main reason why you’re going to want to apply a solid primer is because it’s going to help you keep your face on under the lights. Doing cam work under the typical lighting setup can get hot. This heat can do a number on your makeup at times, which is why you need a primer to help keep things together.

Not tested on animals – This one is pretty self-explanatory, but it’s a product that is not tested on animals.

Oil-free – This means that the product does not contain any oils and if your skin is oily to begin with, then you should be looking for oil free options.
