Policy #1 – Share only photos and videos that you’ve taken or have the right to share.

When posting on Instagram, be sure that you’re the owner of the content that you’re posting. They’re strict when it comes to intellectual property rights and not abiding by this one gives them an easy reason to drop the ban hammer and delete your account. 

What does this mean as a cam model? Well, if you’re planning on sharing some of those non-nude images or streams taken during your cam show, you’re going to want to find out if you have the rights to do so. The best way to do this is to reach out to the platform you’re camming on and find out their content sharing policy before you start uploading to your profile.

So, you’re probably thinking, this is so unfair and I tend to agree, but it’s their platform so you must play by their rules. 

Now, I’m not one to encourage breaking the rules, so I won’t. But I will share one super tip that will keep your account in good health, allowing you to showcase your skin and body, all without being banned. 

Start by posting photos wearing super tight fitness gear. This gives users something to work with and I can guarantee, you’re going to get tons of likes if you’re wearing skin-tight yoga pants and a sports bra.

Sporting a sexy bikini and bra will go over well too. Your best bet is to check out the official Camsoda Instagram account to get an idea of what’s acceptable to post.

Policy #3 – Foster meaningful and genuine interactions.

If you’re thinking of incorporating fake bot followers, fake likes, shares, and comments – PLEASE DON’T. 

This is completely against the terms of service of Instagram. You’ll be banned faster than you can even imagine if you’re trying any trickery. They literally do not care who you are and how many followers you have. Celebrities using this trickery have been banned even. 

As for genuine interactions, they have a policy against impersonating people, using accounts to post fake reviews, and trying to basically fake your way into anything. There is enough fake on all these social media platforms, please do not contribute to that nonsense. Instead, post content that provides real substance with a purpose, no matter how big or small that purpose may be. 

It should go without saying that you should never impersonate anyone else, ever. Do not do it unless you want to be sued. It’s not worth the risk. KEEP IT REAL! 

Policy #4 – Follow the law.

Look, this policy is really simple to understand. If it’s illegal, then don’t mention it, encourage it, and definitely don’t do it. Instagram is not the place for hate, crime, and terrorism. It’s also not the venue for selling illegal services, drugs, and even that sale of live animals, gambling, lottery games, and a few other things. Most importantly, do NOT even think about sharing sexual content or threatening to post images of other people. Just don’t even think about it. Instead, you should be encouraging consumers to check out whatever platform you’re using to stream your cam shows.

Policy #6 – Maintain a supportive environment by not glorifying self-injury.

Instagram cares about its user’s well-being. Anyone using the platform to encourage self-injury will be banned likely immediately. Yes, this also includes doing stupid things that deliberately hurt yourself. Do not do them. 

Policy #7 – Be thoughtful when posting newsworthy events.

This one’s easy to understand as well. Although many people use Instagram to post news-related content. If you’re planning on posting content that’s showcasing violence and/or graphic images that glorify violent acts, then be prepared to get banned.
